About us
Australian Climate Forum is committed to informing, educating and stimulating debate about issues of climate change, its impacts, means by which it might be ameliorated, and developments in climate-change policy and industry response. It does this primarily through its website, and the free emailed newsletter, eCarbon News.
eCarbon News was originally the newsletter of the former Cooperative Research Centre for Greenhouse Accounting. Under the umbrella of the Cooperative Research Centre, eCarbon News built a substantial base of committed and supportive subscribers around the world. As the term of the CRC for Greenhouse Accounting drew to a close in 2006, the Centre facilitated arrangements for publication of the newsletter to continue, and for the development of the Australian Climate Forum website.
The Australian Climate Forum website is updated as frequently as practicable with articles and links to climate-change news from around the world. eCarbon News, a compilation of the month’s climate-change news, is emailed free to subscribers at the end of each month.
Both the website and newsletter are produced by Bruce Wright & Associates Strategic Communication Pty Ltd, and compiled by Bruce Wright, who compiled eCarbon News for the CRC for Greenhouse Accounting from early 2003. Distribution and technical issues are managed by Techzyme.com.
